After Max Verstappen's victory in the Monaco Grand Prix, where streaks came into play, we thought we'd look at the highest-scoring team from the last race. Plus, we look forward to Sprint Qualifying weekends and see how F1 Fantasy will be shaped by the new format.

This historic Monaco GP saw Verstappen take his first F1 victory in the Principality, grasping the Championship lead for the first time – while Red Bull lead the Championship for the first time since 2013.

Round 5 of the Championship also saw the highest-scoring teams of the F1 Fantasy campaign so far.

Team of The Week from the Monaco GP

Monaco saw driver streaks come into play for the first time this F1 Fantasy season, and these players took advantage of that.

For Verstappen made it five consecutive top 10 qualifications and race finishes, started second, and won the race. With a Mega Driver powerup tripling his score, the Dutchman netted a whopping 180 points.

This team also included Lando Norris as Turbo Driver, the third-place finisher achieving a double streak in this race to net 49 points – doubled to 98 with that powerup.

The Team of The Week from Monaco with a whopping 430 points

Carlos Sainz added a useful 36 points to that tally by finishing second for Ferrari. He scored less than Norris as he didn't achieve a streak in Monaco.

Adding 28 points to the team was Aston Martin's fifth-place finisher Sebastian Vettel, while George Russell capped the best team of the week off with 10 more points.

Red Bull were the constructors to have as they achieved a third-consecutive top-10 finish for both drivers (a streak that netted them 10 extra points), had Verstappen win and team mate Sergio Perez make it up to P4 with a 'strategy coup'. The Bulls scored 78 points to bring the total up to 430 points.

How will Sprint Qualifying affect F1 Fantasy?

Now that the new Sprint Qualifying format has been agreed upon by teams, we'll see it very soon. It's also worth making note how your F1 Fantasy team will be affected by the changes, which mainly change how points will be allocated.

Drivers will gain one point for finishing a Sprint Qualifying session, one point (up to a maximum of five) per position gained, three points for scoring the fastest lap and two points for finishing ahead of their team mate.

But they can lose points by losing positions, failing to finish, or being disqualified from Spring Qualifying.

Position bonuses will also be handed out to drivers, with 10 points for the winner, nine points for P2, eight points for P3 and so on until the 10-place finisher gains one point. For the full points breakdown for Sprint Qualifying, click here.

The deadline for locking your team in will be moved from Saturday afternoon to Friday afternoon, when qualifying for Sunday's Grand Prix is set to take place.
