Whether they're carving up the snow, soaking up some sun, seriously preparing for 2020, or even rapping, the F1 drivers have been getting their R&R in ahead of a busy season of 22 races.

Daniel Ricciardo

It seems that Renault's Daniel Ricciardo has not only been preparing for the banking at Zandvoort by taking his mountain bike for a spin, but also joining Australian trio 'Thundamentals' on stage at a gig. Don't give up the day job, Daniel.

Charles Leclerc

Charles Leclerc's holiday plans were up in the air until he went skydiving, the Ferrari man managing to find one of the few activities as exhilarating as driving an F1 car.

Lando Norris

Presumably to punish him for ‘accidentally’ revealing the launch date of the 2020 MCL35, McLaren appear to have chained Lando Norris to the team simulator, where they can keep an eye on him.

Valtteri Bottas

Valtteri Bottas was keeping his wits sharp by taking on the Arctic Lapland Rally, dashing through the snow and finishing ninth overall after recovering from an off.

Lewis Hamilton

As for Mercedes team mate Lewis Hamilton, he's already let out a battle cry by saying he's going to be a "machine" this season. But before he goes about carving up the opposition, Hamilton was carving up some fresh snow, as he celebrated his 35th birthday on the slopes.
